EUROPART and First Stop cooperate

EUROPART and First Stop expand their existing cooperation, supporting each other with brand-independent commercial vehicle spare parts and tyre services.

Hagen, 24th June 2014. EUROPART, the leading European dealer for commercial vehicle parts and workshop equipment, and First Stop, one of Europe’s largest networks of independent tire dealerships will cooperate closely with spare parts supplies and tyre distribution in future. EUROPART’s CEO, Pierre Fleck, and First Stop’s Managing Director, Dr. Urban Uttenweiler, recently signed an agreement for the strategic collaboration. The first step consists of a pilot phase in Germany. The partners also plan to expand the cooperation into the European network at a later point in time.

Both parties benefit significantly from the cooperation, as Pierre Fleck explains: „In future, the approximately 2000 First Stop branches in Europe will be able to profit from the comprehensive product range, the rapid delivery service and the low prices throughout Europe offered by EUROPART spare parts service while all of EUROPART’s branches will receive attractive purchasing conditions for van and commercial vehicle tyres in future.“ First Stop’s managing director, Mr. Uttenweiler, is also looking forward to the collaboration: „With this cooperation we have created a classic win-win situation for both companies.“

Many First Stop dealerships also offer repairs in addition to tyre services for passenger vehicles, vans and commercial vehicles. They will be integrated into EUROPART’s spare parts ordering system and obtain access to more than 70,000 brand’s spare parts and workshop supply products along with products belonging to EUROPART’s own in-house brand. First Stop has 64 branches of its own along with 130 partner companies in Germany. First Stop maintains branches in 25 countries throughout Europe.

As part of the cooperation, EUROPART branches and TransportSTATION brand service companies will be able to buy tyres in the same manner as all other First Stop partners using the First Stop purchasing portal. This will provide customers at TransportSTATION companies, which specialise in vans and light trucks, the opportunity to take advantage of the complete range of tyre services with attractive conditions.
