EUROPART and Hengst agree close collaboration

Managing Partner Hengst SE & Co. KG Mr. Jens Röttgering and CEO Pierre Fleck, EUROPART

Hagen, 23rd January, 2014 EUROPART, the European parts dealer for commercial vehicle parts, and Hengst Automotive, the international filter manufacturer, have agreed a Europe-wide sales cooperation. As a result of this, Hengst’s filter range will be included in EUROPART’s spare parts range for commercial vehicles with effect from the second quarter of 2014. EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck explains: „Hengst Automotive, as a long-established company, has stood for quality and progress in the filter business for decades, and is set apart by its high level of competence in the truck business. That’s why Hengst, as the European market leader for truck parts, is the ideal partner for us in further expanding our filter business.“

The partnership now agreed with Hengst is the result of the Category Management introduced at EUROPART in 2013, which is intended to help the company to gradually harmonise its product range and achieve a uniform service offering across Europe. Commercial Director Ralf Maurer said: „With Category Management, thanks to the close coordination between product management, purchasing and sales, we view the individual product segments under very different criteria and are therefore able to make an optimised, very customer-oriented selection of products and suppliers when designing our product range.“

Hengst Automotive, based in Münster, is an internationally recognised development partner and series supplier to the automotive and motor industry in the field of filtration and fluid management, as well as for applications in the industrial and consumer goods area. Its expertise as an original equipment manufacturer is a guarantee for top quality even in the service range. Jens Röttgering, Managing Partner of Hengst SE & Co. KG, is very excited about the successful sales cooperation: „EUROPART and Hengst are set apart by sustained growth, are well positioned internationally and, thanks to many years of experience and good contacts with trade and the workshops, know the market requirements – ideal prerequisites for a successful collaboration.“

For the first time, the EUROPART range includes the IAM Stack-Filter E510H06 D129 for the Mercedes Benz Actros 3 MP4. Through the consistent further development of the Energetic® product range, the new, energetically joined composite parts achieve excellent stability and pressure-resistance. With this new filter, Hengst is further extending its technology leadership.

The two cooperation partners will be presenting their products in the next EUROPART campaign brochure, Favourites March/April 2014.
