Hagen, 21.05.2014. EUROPART – Europe’s No. 1 dealer in spare parts and workshop equipment – is taking part in this year’s European Truck Racing Championship together with two independent teams for 2014: German team Reinert Racing, and French Team 14. This year, for the first time, Team 14 is presenting itself as EUROPART Racing/Team 14. Also new for the impending season is the fact that Team 14 is starting with Number 14 and is entering the race with Portuguese racing driver Jose Rodrigues.
In contrast to 2013, EUROPART this year is placing a special focus on material sponsoring for its own brand team. After multiple extensive tests under the harshest racing conditions imaginable yielded undeniably positive results, EUROPART-brand brake disks and brake linings are being used for the first time ever throughout the entire season. Sebastian Kamphaus, responsible for EUROPART’s private label, and who oversaw the tests on site: „We continuously check our EUROPART-brand parts for quality and durability. The fact that our parts can now stand up to the rigours of truck racing shows that EUROPART-brand parts provide exceptional quality and represent a genuine alternative to conventional manufacturers‘ products.“
Amongst other highlights, the Renault truck of EUROPART Racing/Team 14 is also equipped with EUROPART-brand batteries and fuel filters. What’s more, EUROPART Racing/Team 14 has also acquired a broad range of consumables from EUROPART’s proprietary range of chemical products.
Perfectly in line with the truck racing season, EUROPART also released in early May its „Favourites“ customer brochure with the slogan „Truck Race Approved“, from which the entire spectrum of EUROPART-brand parts can be procured. The customer brochure also includes a lottery for the „Truck Grand-Prix“ at Nürburgring, including overnight stay and entry ticket.
On the occasion of the Italian truck race in Misano from 24 – 25, May 2014, EUROPART will be hosting some 180 workshop and key account customers in its own EUROPART „Racing Tent“. EUROPART will be represented in all truck race events together with its customers. The main event will once again be the „Truck Grand-Prix“ on 18 – 20, July 2014 at Nürburgring in Germany, where EUROPART expects more than 500 customers to attend.
