Hagen, 10.12.2014. EUROPART is expanding its European network and is specifically strengthening its sales network in Scandinavia. It is for this reason that Gothenburg in Sweden is currently seeing an expansion from the commercial vehicle parts dealer. „Scandinavia is, with its strong transport and logistics sector, an attractive growth market for the EUROPART Group,“ claims CEO Pierre Fleck. „We will be opening new sites in this region throughout 2015 as well.“
The EUROPART branch in Gothenburg has been moved to a new site in close proximity of the port and was thus able to expand its storage space from 400 square meters to 650 square meters. At the same time, the new location offers optimal conditions for a transport company to operate on a local level. Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden and has the largest export port in Northern Europe. Country Manager Mikael Bornandersson is currently responsible for the five branches across the whole of Sweden. More to follow shortly.
At the start of the year, the leading European parts distributor had already set the pace with a majority takeover in the joint venture of EUROPART Finland Oy in neighbouring Finland. Country Manager Frank Lönnqvist has been responsible for EUROPART’s interest in the Finnish market for over 10 years now and currently represents two sites in the north and east of the capital Helsinki. Helsinki is, with the largest national cargo handling port, an important logistics hub for many European industrial and transport companies and therefore of a strategic importance for EUROPART.
